A few years back Fauquier Wrestling Club had a middle school team where it developed kids from the elementary and middle schools level and built a wrestling schedule that participated against other middle school teams within the region. This team then emerged into what is better know now as the Warhawks Beltway team as they participate within the CAWL and have been successful within development of kids at that high level.
Now Fauquier wrestling program is once again has created and organized a Middle school program for the 2011-2012 seasons. This team will be strictly geared for Middle school aged kids with little or no previous wrestling experience. One of the basic goals with this program is to reach out to those middle school children and provide them with another winter sports opportunity. The Fauquier Sports Foundation was glad to find a home for this middle school team at the Boys and Girls Club of Warrenton, located at: 169 Keith Street. With this new partnership FSF and the Boys and Girls Club have joined hands to create an area to host this middle school practice. Currently practices are being held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6-8pm.
