Fauquier Sports Foundation Scholarships:

The Fauquier Sports Foundation is a non profit organization that promotes the sport of wrestling in Fauquier County. The Foundation has established two $500.00 scholarships to be awarded annually to graduating seniors who best meet the eligibility requirements of the selection committee. Special consideration will be given to those athletes who will be participating in athletics at any level in college including club and/or participated in the Fauquier Youth Wrestling Programs. Each scholarship will be awarded directly to the student.
Eligibility Requirements

Complete the scholarship application and provide one letter of reference. (Letter should be from a coach, teacher or community member).
Lettered in a VHSL recognized sport for a minimum of two years and submit proof.
Written acceptance from the school he/she wishes to attend. Please attach copy of acceptance letter.
Demonstrate community service and leadership.
Must NOT be receiving a FULL scholarship.
Maintain a 3.0 GPA.
Senior attending Fauquier High School.
Application Deadline April 30, 2015. Application should be turned into the guidance office. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Below is the application.
