BoPWC is back - Spring & Fall off-season practices

Birds O' Prey provides off-season training and competition opportunities for current 7th-12th graders (with 6th graders welcome on an approved exception basis). Training focuses on Collegiate and Freestyle styles with experienced coaches and clinicians.

Membership required: Current-year USA Wrestling card

Wednesdays: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
Friday Open Mat: 5:00 - 6:30 PM

Coaches

Michael Villalobos

Head Coach of BoPWC; current Fauquier HS Head Coach. Coached multiple state champions and three state championship teams (2020, 2016, 2015). Former Fauquier Region Champion and Virginia State Placer.

Bobby Sims

Assistant Fauquier HS Coach. Coached multiple state champions and the 2020 state championship team.

Neil Johnson

Assistant Fauquier HS Coach. 1993 VA State Champion (Stonewall HS). 1999 NCAA Division I Qualifier (George Mason University).

Miguel Davil

Assistat Fauquier HS Coach. Multiple time 5A state qualifier for Freedom HS.

Abdul Aziz

Assistant Fauquier HS Coach. Former Fauquier High School Wrestler, part of the 2020 State championship team

About BoPWC

The Birds O' Prey Wrestling Club is an official USA Wrestling sanctioned club that provides off-season training and competition opportunities for current 7th-12th graders - with middle schoolers welcome (6th graders on an approved exception basis).

Practices run Mondays and Wednesdays at Fauquier High School beginning in March and ending in July. Training focuses on Collegiate and Freestyle styles. Multiple current and previous collegiate wrestlers may be present.

BoPWC coaches plan to host clinics during the Spring, Summer, and Fall.
